ASC Virtual Retreat

Thanks for joining our ASC Virtual Retreat.  My project for the weekend is Star Bright. 

 

We will be focusing on learning the techniques involved in hand piecing and how best to use the acrylic window templates. 

I'm sure many of you will have lots of the supplies listed below but the minimum requirements are 45 degree diamond templates, a matching square template, some fabric, scissors, needle and thread.

Hand piecing is a great portable project and ideal to take while traveling or waiting for a family member.  It's also great for those times when you would prefer not to be tied to your sewing machine or for anyone who doesn't have the luxury of easy access to a sewing machine.
